Abstract We present some parts of our Maths for Engineers teaching concept: above all, motivation: sometimes mathematics teachers observe that engineering students, example, perceive the maths concepts as a useless evil them and therefore learn with little motivation sustainability. When are later used in other subjects, students do not know how to apply value education very highly. solve problem by linking subject education: exercise program contains tasks from at moment when necessary available; examples can be found here: https://tud.link/y33m . In this contribution we will document experience achieving maths‐subject‐link success motivating students. Other concept are: (1.) making recordings lecture tutorial available so decide whether attend face‐to‐face or watch video ‘flipped‐classroom‐style’ home: 4/5 choose but use review. (2.) Instead TWO small‐group‐tutorials per week, offer ONE central‐tutorial small‐group‐tutorial week: documenting change based on student views changes exam scores: pass rate did change, observing raised midfield. (3.) means extra credit rules: https://tud.link/6r84 evoke (a) group work, (b) continuously ‘stay task’ throughout semester, well (c) keep reviewing what they have learned far.
